RPL Technicians enable Rapid Prototyping for members across the Cornell campus. As a RPL technician, you'll learn how to use all of our 3D printers and laser cutters, and get the opportunity to help students, researchers and project teams convert their dreams and designs into functional prototypes. 

​

WHAT YOU'LL DO: 

• Complete 5-6 weeks of training at the end of Fall 2023 (after being hired)

• Inspect and pre-process design files for 3D printing and start prints using a variety of printing technologies

• Hold open hours for 3 to 5 hours per week where users can ask questions about their designs and our technologies

• Read and respond to queries by emails

• Get paid to play with 3D printers and laser cutters - the coolest job on campus!

HOW TO APPLY: 

• Fill out the application by the deadline, October 12, 2023.

• While all are encouraged to apply, we are primarily looking to hire first and second-year students.

• Selected candidates will be interviewed throughout October and November.
